The holiday home is approximately 5 miles from Bude. The bus service runs in front of the house so if required the bus can be hailed at the edge of the drive. Bude has some nice beaches and are patrolled in summer by lifeguards. The canal in Bude has some nice walks and fishing in season is allowed too.
Bude has shops, banks, pubs and a nightclub.
