How do I book?
Check the availability page. If the dates you require are available then please either email or use the contact form to confirm your booking. We will then require a £50 deposit, this will hold the booking for you. The remaining money will be due one month before the start of your holiday.
How many people can stay at the holiday home?
Six guests is the maximum number. The property is ideal for 4 but if you want an extra 2 people there is a nice bed sofa in the living room.
Can I bring my pet?
Two dogs (well behaved) are allowed but they must be kept off the bedding and furniture. The small rear garden is fenced with a four foot wall. The front is fenced at the sides but there is an open drive onto the road. There are many fantastic walks in the area which your dog will love! The beaches are all dog friendly with Widemouth Bay having a section where dogs are not allowed but the beach is so big that this does not effect your dogs pleasure! If you have more than 2 dogs please contact us. There is also cat flaps in the rear doors if you want to bring a cat!
What do I need to bring?
Duvet covers, pillow cases and linen can be supplied at a charge of £5 per bed or if you prefer bring your own.
Is there parking?
There is parking at the holiday property for three cars.
Is there any nightlife?
There is a newly reopened pub / restaurant within walking distance of the holiday home which serves good food and is very popular with locals and visitors alike. Widemouth Bay has a few more pubs and restaurants. Bude at 5 miles away has pubs, shops, restaurants, a swimming pool and a bowling alley!
Should I bring my fishing rod?
For sure! There is a good variety of fishing - both sea and fresh water.
When is the best surf?
Good surf can be at any time of the year but autumn and spring are prime times.
What is the beach of Widemouth Bay like?
Widemouth Bay is a long sandy beach with rock out crops at either end. The beach is patrolled by life guards from Easter to October. Half of the beach is dog friendly and the other has a ban part of the year.
Is there a bus service ?
Yes buses are about every hour to and from the holiday property to Bude via the beach at Widemouth Bay and to Boscastle the other way. The bus can be hailed down from the property.
Is there internet access?
